2014 is the Year of the Passenger Pigeon, marking the 100th Anniversary from the extinction of that bird species with Martha the Passenger Pigeon’s death in 1914. Our goal for this e-newsletter during this year will be including content that relates not only to that event but to the Passenger Pigeon species in general in every one of the four issues we plan to release. So contact us with any and all of your contributions, or if you have any ideas on what you might want to have published.
